2011 McGladrey Classic – Round 3

Rookies Michael Thompson and Billy Horschel each had another great round.

Thompson leads The McGladrey Classic at the end of the third round.  After opening with a pair of 65s, the University of Alabama grad short a third-round 67 and goes into the final round with his first 54-hole lead of his TOUR career.  He holds a one-stroke advantage over Billy Horschel.

PGA TOUR rookie and 36-hole leader Billy Horschel, a 24-year-old native of Grant, Florida, followed up matching, career-low rounds of 64-64 with a third-round even-par 70 to fall one stroke behind Michael Thompson.
