McGladrey Classic Puts Simpson in Lead for Money Title
October 18, 2011 – While Webb Simpson missed a 3-foot par putt on 17 to lose to friend and fellow PGA TOUR pro Ben Crane in the 2011 McGladrey Classic, his second place finish was good enough to put him at the top of the 2011 Money List with just one tournament to go.
Simpson’s runner-up finish was worth $432,000 and gave him a $363,029 lead on Luke Donald.
Simpson and Donald are both scheduled to play Disney this week.
