The McGladrey Classic earns “Best Of” award at PGA TOUR Tournament Advisory Council Meetings
The McGladrey Classic (St. Simons Island, GA) was honored by the PGA TOUR at the TOUR’s Tournament Advisory Council (TAC) Meetings on Saturday, Dec. 10. The McGladrey Classic earned an award for “Best New Promotional Idea” during the 2011 tournament at the Sea Island Golf Club.

McGladrey Renews Title Sponsorship of McGladrey Classic
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (November 29, 2011) – The PGA TOUR and McGladrey, whose sponsorship helped launch The McGladrey Classic as a new PGA TOUR Fall Series event in 2010, announced today that the firm has signed a three-year extension as title sponsor through 2015. McGladrey, one of the nation’s leading assurance, tax and business consulting firms, originally signed a three-year sponsorship deal, which extends through the 2012 tournament.

2012 McGladrey Classic Dates Announced
ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA – October 18, 2011 – The McGladrey Classic tournament staff, in conjunction with the PGA TOUR, announced that the third annual event will be held October 15-21, 2012 at Sea Island Golf Club’s Seaside course on St. Simons Island, Georgia. Just like the previous two events, the upcoming tournament promises to be another fantastic time for spectators and players as they experience the area’s rich history, culture and extraordinary hospitality.
