27th Annual Boys & Girls Club Golf Tournament May 1
This year marks the 27th year of the annual Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Georgia Giant Golf Tournament. The tournament is the Club’s oldest fundraising event and one of the longest running golf tournaments in the Golden Isles. Come out for a day of fun and great food from Larry’s Giant Subs on the beautiful greens of the Jekyll Island Golf Course on Friday, May 1. It’s a four-man team scramble format with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.
Streb Celebrates Birthday at the Masters
Robert Streb turned 28 on Tuesday, April 7. On Wednesday, he played in the Par 3 Contest with his wife Maggie and 2-month old daughter Catherine by his side. The McGladrey Classic, an Official PGA TOUR Event hosted by the Davis Love Foundation, has selected Imperial as the exclusive headwear partner for the 2015 tournament will be held on the Plantation and Seaside Courses at Sea Island Golf Club November 16 – 22.

2014 McGladrey Classic Raises More Than $930,000 for Charities
The fifth annual McGladrey Classic, an Official Event of the PGA TOUR held at Sea Island Golf Club, raised more than $930,000 for children and family charities, announced the Davis Love Foundation, the host organization of the event. This brings the five-year charitable contribution of the tournament to more than $2.7 million.
Charitable dollars are distributed by the Davis Love Foundation, which was established in 2005 by professional golfer Davis Love III and his wife Robin. The Foundation contributes to the well-being and progress of society by supporting both national and community-based programs that focus on children and their families. The Foundation’s mission is to help build a better future for children and their families who are at risk of poor educational, economic, social and health outcomes.
