    The Davis Love Foundation has partnered with Synovus Financial Corp. to provide banking services for the organization and The McGladrey Classic, an Official PGA TOUR Event, held November 16 – 22 at Sea Island Golf Club.

    Synovus Bank is one of the largest banks in the Southeast and provides commercial and retail banking, investment, and mortgage services to customers through 28 locally-branded divisions, including The Coastal Bank of Georgia that has branches on St. Simons Island and in Brunswick.

  • Volunteer Registration Timeline Announced

    With the sixth official McGladrey Classic just more than two hundred days away, tournament organizers are preparing to welcome spectators, PGA TOUR golfers and their families to the Golden Isles. This year’s McGladrey Classic will be held November 16 – 22 on Sea Island Golf Club’s Seaside and Plantation courses.

    Each year, the tournament requires the time and talent of approximately 1,200 volunteers to help in more than twenty different areas. More information on volunteer committees can be found here. Registration for returning volunteers begins Wednesday, April 22, and registration for new volunteers begins June 1.

  • 27th Annual Boys & Girls Club Golf Tournament May 1

    This year marks the 27th year of the annual Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Georgia Giant Golf Tournament. The tournament is the Club’s oldest fundraising event and one of the longest running golf tournaments in the Golden Isles. Come out for a day of fun and great food from Larry’s Giant Subs on the beautiful greens of the Jekyll Island Golf Course on Friday, May 1. It’s a four-man team scramble format with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

  • Streb Celebrates Birthday at the Masters
